Are the articles approved by the ASRT (American Society of Radiologic Technologists)?
Yes, all of our articles have been approved by the ASRT for Category "A" credits.
Does the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) accept these credits for renewal?
Yes, the ARRT accepts CEU’s that have been approved by the ASRT. CEU’s are approved by other organizations, but the ASRT is the most recognized approving organization for Radiology credits.
How do I take a course?
First select an article that you want to read and read the article at your leisure. At the bottom of the article is a prompt, "Take the Test", which will allow you to choose the payment option that best meets your needs. You will then need to register with our company. After that you will take the test and make your payment.
Do I have to pass a test?
Yes, in order to receive CEU’s you must pass the test with 75% or better. You only have 3 attempts to pass the test after that you will not be able to receive any credits for the article. This is a guideline established by the ARRT.
I passed the test, now how do I receive my certificate?
After you pass the test, you can either pay right away or you may continue to read other articles and take more tests. Once your account is paid, you can access your certificates by viewing your account information, select "View Account Information" located under the RICS icon, top left. Select the article you want and your certificate will be displayed, and then select "Print the Certificate".
How can I get the CE reference number that the ARRT requires for proving completion of the CEU’s?
The CE reference number ,date completed, title of the article, and number of category "A" credits you received will be located on the certificate.
What if I am unable to read the whole article at one time?
You can come back to the article as many times as you would like. If you are unable to finish the article just return to our site when you are available and continue reading. BUT, if you are taking the test you must complete it or the test will be graded with the uncompleted questions as wrong answers. Remember you only have 3 attempts to pass the test with 75%.
Can I print out the articles?
Yes, but on most computers the right edge of the page will be cut off. This is a common problem when printing from the internet. If you want to print the article out we recommend copying the article into a word type document. You may NOT print out the test. Printing the test is against the ASRT guidelines, so it must not be
done.
How can I see a completed test?
Once you pass a test for CEU credits you are unable to view that test again. This is a strict guideline of the ASRT, we are sorry for the inconvenience.
Who reports my CEU’s to the ARRT?
Each Technologist is responsible for reporting their CEU’s to the ARRT. RICS does store your certificates for you, so you can return and get your information at any time.
What can I do if I misplace my certificate?
We keep a permanent record for all of the completed courses, so all you need to do is login and then select "View Account Information" located under the RICS icon on the top left corner.
How do I change my e-mail address or other personal information?
Login to website, and then select "View Account Information" then "Edit your Information". Edit the information you would like to change, and then select "Submit".
What do I do if I forgot my password?
Enter your ARRT number then select "Login" without entering anything in the password box. You will than view a page that asks for your e-mail address. Enter that information and you will receive an e-mail from an Unknown Sender. This e-mail will have your ARRT number and your password. Will you have more articles available in the future?
Definitely, we are constantly researching and writing new articles. It is lengthy processes to write quality articles that are educational and interesting, but we are dedicated to having 24 new CEU's each year. What is a sponsorship code?
Organizations and hospital offer our membership to employees which entitle the employees to unlimited CEU’s from our website. If you organization or hospital are members of our website your organization will contact you with the appropriate code that would allow you to take our CEU’s without paying or paying for them at a reduce rate. My state requires state lisencing, does your website comply with the state regulations?
It is important that you check with your state to be sure that our CEU's are accepted within your state. It is the Technologists responsibility to make sure that you are following your states guidelines.
